27-Aug-2014: Deriving a prower law for an inertial pendulum

1.Here is how we set up those equirement.(without mass on the tray)



2.    T vs. ln(m+Mtray)
We put mass starting from 0 gram and add 100 gram each time until it reached 800 gram.And measured the Period each tiem. (The numerical value shows on the letf of the picture)
Assuming the period is related to mass by some power-law type of equation.
Through many attempts. Find Mass of the tray is 0.27kg and the power n=0.6431.



Although the numerical values have some expericialment error, the prower law for this inertial pendulum is useable.
